FAQs

Are your services virtual or in person?

Most of my services are virtual, which allows me to work with people from all over the world. I use Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, email, and shared tools like Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets to make collaboration smooth and personal. That said, I’m also available to meet in person or travel for select projects, workshops, or consulting engagements when needed.

How much do services cost?

I offer flexible pricing based on the type of support you need. If you're a student or working in a low-resource context, I’m happy to explore options that fit your budget.

Sessions for individual mentorship and academic support are typically $70 (USD) per hour.

For institutional clients, I tailor pricing based on the scope and structure of the engagement. I’m comfortable working within established daily rate ranges or responding to budget parameters outlined in calls for proposals. My rates are always adapted to the context, complexity, and duration of the work.

How do I know if I’m a good fit to work with you?

If you're curious, values-driven, and working on something that touches health, development, equity, or impact — we’ll probably work well together. I especially enjoy supporting people navigating transitions, cross-cultural experiences, or complex personal and professional goals.

Do you offer one-time sessions or ongoing support?

Both! Some clients meet with me just once for feedback or brainstorming. Others work with me over weeks or months on a larger project or personal goal. I’m happy to adapt to what works best for you.

What kind of mentorship do you offer?

I provide one-on-one mentoring for students, researchers, and early-career professionals working in global health, public policy, or adjacent fields. This can include help with research design, thesis feedback, writing support, or academic and career planning.

Do I have to study or work in public health to work with you?

Not at all. While my expertise is rooted in global health, I also support individuals in adjacent fields like international development, gender studies, and social impact. If your work touches on equity, community wellness, or research, I’d be happy to support you.

Can you help me publish my research or get it conference-ready?

Yes! I can help you shape your ideas, strengthen your analysis, and polish your writing for submission to journals or conferences. I’ve supported clients with literature reviews, manuscript drafts, poster presentations, and more.

Can you help with fellowship or grad school applications?

Yes, I help refine personal statements, select programs, identify funding opportunities, and prepare strong applications that reflect your goals and strengths.

Can you help with elements of my public health practice or research work such as designing a survey with a mobile app, making a framework for data collection, analyzing qualitative or quantitative data, or writing about my work for different audiences?

Yes! I can do a wide variety of tasks to support your work in the public health field - if you need help with it, I can probably find a way to help you, from technical to creative assistance. Just ask!
